The Dread That Befell Night Port – A HeroQuest Scenario
A downloadable game
"Strange things are happening in Night Port, my friends. The Blood Sea Pirates seem to be pursuing a secret plan to infiltrate the port city. I'm not yet sure what they're up to, but the city is too important in the fight against Zargon to let it fall into the hands of pirates. I have a spy in Night Port and ask you to meet her there in a harbor tavern. Asheya has new information that we desperately need to take the wind out of the pirates' sails. I don't expect any complications, but be careful. You never know with these scoundrels."
The Dread That Befell Night Port is a challenging HeroQuest scenario for 4 seasoned heroes.
A moon-lid night doesn't turn out as the heroes have hoped for – and now they must face dread cultists, pirates and an even more sinister force at work. Can Night Port be saved or is it doomed?
The Dread That Befell Night Port requires the heroes to make a number of decisions and is a race against time on several levels.
This scenario uses elements from the following expansions: Kellar's Keep, Return of the Witch Lord, The Frozen Horror, Mage of the Mirror, Rise of the Dread Moon. It was entirely done with hQuestBuilder.
Watch AmalgamAsh's review of The Dread That Befell Night Port at AshQuest's YouTube channel and learn why he called it "a pretty tough quest" and "The Clutter That Befell Night Port":
I have also added two additional versions of the quest: A complete remake in the look of Avalon Hill's official online quests and a German version called Schrecken über Nachthafen.
Changelog:
24/04/03 v1.1 uploaded. Some minor corrections, room P is now room L.
24/04/05 v1.2 uploaded. Small, but important update: Some characters can now open doors like heroes.
